We all know a bad Manager or 3

Perhaps this has happened to you?
It certainly happened to me...
You are given a position of responsibility because you are good at your job...
But...
You have been given no training or any idea of how to manage resources...
Resources such as people and time...
So you do the very best you can using what you know and the examples that you have seen....
And I am guessing like me, some of those examples have not been the best in the world lol.
Then what happens, if you are doing a good job, things tick along OK, but if you are not.....boom!!!
It all blows up in your face and all hell breaks loose and who gets the blame....
That's right.....YOU...
It is not that you are a bad manager, it is that you have never been given the skills to become a good "leader"
You see, leaders want to do a good job, leaders want to grow and develop, leaders want the best for those around them........Managers, they don't give a toss about anyone or anything other than themselves...
I am sure you have experienced such "managers and supervisors"......
They are the toxic ones who make everyone feel like shi7 and create the "them vs us" attitudes, drive division, because it makes them look more powerful and undermines the majority.
I could talk about these individuals all day, and my choice of language is critical here, because they are individuals, they are not team members...
Leaders are all about the team, brininging everyone together...imagine being a Leader...now imagine layering in some emotional awareness, how about taking it a whole level deeper and becoming an "Emotionally Intimate Leader"
Someone who is capable has grace, compassion, behavioural flexibility, emotional intelligence, awareness, understanding, humilty, kindness, confidence, boundaries, the ability to experience emotions to completion and to be able to understand them....so you can help others experience their emotions as well....
You can be that person, if you apply yourself to it...
Imagine having those skills, how much would that benefit your life both professionally and personally...
